If it says they only respond if interested and to give them 3 months, then I move on at 3 months. As Ariel said, email is an industry standard at this point, and as long as you don't abuse it...I think you'll be fine.

Another option? Do you have a twitter account? there are sooooooo many editors and agents on twitter and maybe you can "lurk" and see what said editor is up to. I've had a few friends get tips that way! One agent even requested a submission that way for her manuscript.

Good luck!!!Robin Constantinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12702857007702547325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6265428284848727164.post-64208812277940561732012-10-25T11:52:00.225-04:002012-10-25T11:52:00.225-04:00Thanks everyone.

If large, then your mss. probably wasn't passed on to someone else. If you think that company is a good match, I'd submit to another editor there if you can.

As to editor # 2, if that company has stated it's dealing only with snail mail, then perhaps you should follow their rules.Gale Sypher Jacobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01167465000672443273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6265428284848727164.post-51848986208038193322012-10-24T21:08:38.191-04:002012-10-24T21:08:38.191-04:00I would definitely send an e-mail to see what happ...I would definitely send an e-mail to see what happened rather than a snail mail.
